Nanotechnology Program (NEST)

Funded by the National Science Foundation, NEST is a 6 week summer program that provides a unique opportunity for high school grade 11 students to explore the interdisciplinary field of nanotechnology at IUPUI. Must Attend a Public School in Marion County, IPS and township schools to qualify Stipend which is money you get paid $2000 is included. Deadline to apply is March 1st

Carbon Nanotube

Nanotechnology involves the control of matter in the nanometer-scale dimensions, with a broad range of applications such as energy, medicine, information technology, space and aeronautics, and consumer goods.

This program is open to students in grade 11 who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Students can earn 1 college credit hour in engineering and technology or science by doing hands-on laboratory experiences, conducting research on careers in nanotechnology, and connecting with a network of professors and scientists.

June 14- July 23 Stipend of $2000 (money you get paid) is included
