If you are currently in 8th & 9th grade and are thinking about getting a great summer job as a high school student, starting a position as a caddy might be the best decision you have ever made! Make good money - Work outside - Meet interesting people. Build your life/college readiness skills. Get paid to try to earn a full tuition and housing college scholarship! NO PRIOR GOLF/CADDYING KNOWLEDGE NEEDED. ALL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. Training begins in March and is finished in May. Application deadline for March 3rd 2024

A caddie assists golfers during their rounds and is considered a vital part of the game of golf. Their responsibilities include carrying the golfer’s bag, pacing yardages, replacing divots, raking bunkers and attending the flagstick. Caddying is a great summer job!

Evans Scholarship for Caddies: Caddying can also qualify you to apply for the Evans Scholarship - a full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving caddies with limited financial means.

Scholarship Requirements:
Strong caddie record: Applicants must have caddied, regularly and successfully, for a minimum of two years prior to 12th grade.
Excellent academics: Scholarship applicants must have completed their junior year of high school with above a B average in college preparatory courses. -
Demonstrated financial need: Scholarship applicants must clearly have a need for financial assistance.
Outstanding character: Scholarship applicants must be outstanding in character, integrity and leadership.
