Youth Violence Prevention Fellowship

The Youth Violence Prevention Fellowship provides a unique window for Marion County students and young adults to learn about local policies and efforts towards preventing youth violence in Indianapolis. The Fellowship aims to bring likeminded young advocates together who are interested in social justice and public policy.

In addition to being a paid opportunity, the Fellowship will allow participants to draw on resources across the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. During each meeting, Fellows will meet with local elected officials, community leaders and activists, and subject matter experts, in addition to staff from the Prosecutor’s Office. Towards the end of the Fellowship, participants will have the opportunity to complete a hands-on project that deepens their understanding of the youth violence issue by developing potential solutions based on what they learned.

The Fellowship will consist of in-person and virtual sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the summer of 2024.
