BDPA Student Information Technology and Scholarships Program
The Student Information Technology Education and Scholarships (SITES) program aspires to introduce students to the dynamic world of technology, offer valuable scholarship opportunities, and kickstart their promising careers in IT.
Engaging in SITES is the perfect stepping stone to getting involved with the larger BDPA organization. Our volunteer industry experts, who are professionals with a passion for teaching and connecting youth to opportunities within Corporate America, craft meticulous curricula for hour-long Saturday classes to ensure that our students are introduced to the latest technologies and topics of discussion. They'll gain relevant industry experience through hands-on projects, receive expert guidance in coding courses, and develop high-demand technical skills.
Best of all, participation is completely free, making it accessible for students to cultivate their passion for STEM and Information Technology (IT) even before pursuing higher education.
Enrollment is open for the 2024 program. Orientation will be on January 13, with the first day of class on January 20. Deadline to apply is January 31st.

Participating in SITES prepares students:
To compete in the National High School Computer Competition (HSCC) at the annual BDPA Conference
To jumpstart their STEM careers during hour-long classes on Saturdays, immersing students in opportunities to further their technical and professional development with projects and guided coding courses.
New to the 2024 program, our core web development classes will be paired with topics of emerging technologies.
